The state of Iowa’s largest Archaeological Preserve sits near the city of Glenwood, Iowa on 907 acres, with hundreds of Native American habitation sites dating all the way back to 900 AD.

The LHAIC’s vision is to study, record and share this large untapped historical treasure, as well as the hundreds of other sites around Mills County and throughout the Loess Hills.
